Meet the Doctors
Jeffrey Ingber, DDS, FICCMODr. Jeffrey Ingber graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1966 and from dental school at the University of Detroit in 1970. He was recently honored for serving as a general dentist in Pontiac & Waterford Twp for 40 years. He chaired the emergency dental service program for the Oakland County Dental Society for six years, and is currently on staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. In October 2011, Dr. Ingber earned his Fellowship through the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics. Although Dr. Ingber enjoys all facets of general dentistry, he excels in the extraction of teeth and the fabrication of complete dentures. Dr. Ingber enjoys spending as much time as he possibly can with his nine grandchildren.
Jason Ingber, DDSJason Ingber graduated from the University of Michigan in 1991 and from dental school at the University of Michigan in 1995. He was voted one of the top dentists in Oakland County by the readers of the Oakland Press in 2010, 2011 and 2012, and was named one of the Top Dentists by his peers. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Society, and Alpha Omega dental fraternity. Dr. Ingber attends numerous continuing education classes and stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies. In Dr. Ingber's spare time, he loves to travel and spend time with his family. He coaches his son's baseball team and is an avid sports fan.
My father is a dentist. I spent many years following and watching him.
I love the field of dentistry as it is very exciting. I am always learning new things and staying up to date.
As a kid, I would come into the office, follow my dad and see what dentistry really was.
I enjoyed watching him extract teeth, doing root canals, making dentures, doing oral surgery and it just got me all fired up. I couldn't wait to get into the field.

Harris Gurfinkel, DDSDr. Harris Gurfinkel migrated to the United States from Canada to attend dental school, graduating from the University of Detroit in 1996. Following graduation, he made his home in the West Bloomfield area. Joining Metropolitan Dental Centers in 2007 while running his own practice in West Bloomfield. Dr. Gurfinkel treats all varieties of dental needs including; fillings, crowns, and root canals. In 2010, Dr. Gurfinkel sold his private practice and accepted a full time position with MDC where we welcomed his experience and good patient rapport.
In his spare time, Dr. Gurfinkel enjoys watching his young son play hockey and is an avid Red Wings fan.
Dr. Steele, DDS, MSOriginally from the south suburbs of Chicago and raised in Munster, Indiana, Dr. Steele graduated cum laude from Loyola University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Religious Studies. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2012, where she served as Co-President of the Chi Chapter of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. Dr. Steele then earned her Certificate in Periodontics in 2015, and presented her Master's thesis on the relationship between metabolic syndrome and periodontal disease. She has an interest and proficiency in the periodontic-orthodontic interrelationship, esthetic periodontal surgery, oral pathology and management of oral pathologic conditions, and the treatment of complex systemic health conditions and periodontal disease. Additionally, she is trained and certified in the administration of intravenous conscious sedation.
When not in the office, Dr. Steele's interests include cooking, traveling, running and her two adorable nephews. She resides in the metro-Detroit area with her husband, Mark.
Michael R. Hardy, DDS, MSDr. Hardy is an honors graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry (UDMSD), he also taught at the UDMSD for 11 years. In 1991, he entered the University of Michigan Orthodontic Residency graduate program and received his specialty license in 1994. For his research in orthodontics, he received the Harry P. Sicher Award from the American Association of Orthodontics.
Upon receiving his specialty license, he began practicing in the S.E. Michigan area. He has been involved in the "Smiles Change Lives Program" and does voluntary orthodontics at a clinic in Detroit. Dr. Hardy is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association (MDA), the Oakland County dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) among others.
Dr. Hardy notes that he feels very fortunate to practice orthodontics, because he does something he enjoys while helping his patients achieve a beautiful smile.
Dr. Hardy has been married for over 35 years and is the proud father of two wonderful adult children.
Martin Fraschetti, DDS, MICCMO*Dr. Martin Fraschetti has been providing general dentistry since 1984. He also provides orthodontic treatment, head and neck pain treatment, and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) treatment. For over the past 10 years, Dr. Fraschetti has traveled around the country teaching about TMJ and functional orthodontics.
Dr. Martin Fraschetti is recognized for his ability to combine skeletal diagnosis with neuromuscular dentistry. He has developed a unique, systematic, non-surgical approach in the corrective treatment of TMJ/head and neck pain. Patients who have a history of unsuccessful diagnosis and treatment, have come to see Dr. Fraschetti from across the USA and Canada for treatment.
Dr. Fraschetti's goal is to maximize your comfort during dental treatment and help alleviate TMJ symptoms such as headaches, neck and shoulder pain, jaw pain, clicking or popping in the jaw, and tinnitus (ringing in the ears).
Gary Wolford, DDS, MICCMODr. D. Gary Wolford graduated from Temple University in 1967 and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was the former Chairman of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial at Henry Ford Hospital and director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Program.
Dr. Wolford is a Master of the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedic and a Regent in ICCMO. He developed a Clinical Classification of Craniomandibular Disorders. He is the past President of the North American Neuromuscular Study Club.
His practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of facial pain and craniomandibular disorders. He has used electro-diagnostic instrumentation for over 27 years and over 12,000 patients. He emphasizes a conservative, non-surgical approach to treating patients with facial pain and jaw dysfunction.

It is with fondness and respect that we remember Dr. Daniel Schwarb. He was an extraordinary dentist and a selfless friend. Dr. Schwarb specialized in pain management of the head and neck, with a focus on TMJ disorders. His contribution to his field was immense as he was responsible for operating pain management clinics at five different hospitals. Daniel Schwarb, DDS is thoroughly missed by his family, friends and colleagues and his patients. May he rest in peace.
